General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

for Online Sale of Textile Products (B2C)

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) apply to all orders placed by consumers via the online shop of Threaded Bonds GmbH, Switzerland.

A “consumer” is any natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession.

2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.

By placing an order, the Customer submits a binding offer. The contract is concluded when:

  • the Customer receives an order confirmation by email, or
  • the goods are dispatched

Threaded Bonds GmbH reserves the right to refuse orders without giving reasons.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are in CHF (Swiss Francs) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Available payment methods may include:

  • credit card
  • TWINT
  • PayPal
  • bank transfer

Payment is due immediately upon order placement unless otherwise agreed.

4. Delivery

Delivery is made within Switzerland and, if specified, internationally.

Estimated delivery times are indicated in the online shop but are non-binding.

Shipping costs are displayed during checkout.

Risk transfers to the Customer upon delivery of the goods.

5. Right of Withdrawal / Returns

Swiss law does not provide a mandatory withdrawal right for online purchases. However, Threaded Bonds GmbH grants the following voluntary return policy:

  • Products may be returned within 14 days of receipt
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer unless the product is defective

The purchase price will be refunded using the original payment method.

Exclusions from return:

  • personalized or custom-made items
  • worn or damaged items
  • cut fabrics (if applicable)

6. Product Description and Textile Characteristics

We make every effort to display products accurately. However, slight deviations may occur, particularly in:

  • color (due to screen differences)
  • texture and finish
  • size (within standard tolerances)

These do not constitute defects.

7. Warranty (Defects)

Customers must inspect goods upon purchase confirmation.

If defects are identified, the Customer must notify Threaded Bonds GmbH within a reasonable time.

In case of valid defects, the Customer is entitled to:

  • replacement delivery
  • repair (if applicable)
  • refund (if replacement is not possible)

Normal wear and tear, improper care, or misuse are excluded from warranty.

8. Care Instructions and Use

Textile products must be used and maintained according to the provided care instructions.

No liability is accepted for damage caused by improper washing, drying, or handling.

9. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of [Company Name] until full payment has been received.

10. Liability

[Company Name] is liable only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct, to the extent permitted by law.

Liability for indirect damages, such as loss of profit, is excluded.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

Customer data is used solely for order processing and, where consent is given, for marketing purposes.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

For consumers, the place of jurisdiction is governed by mandatory consumer protection provisions.

14. Final Provisions

If any provision of these GTC is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Threaded Bonds GmbH reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time.
